OpenClaw.ag is operated by CloudCraftr LLP, 50 Princes Street, Ipswich, United Kingdom. We offer a monthly hosting subscription at USD $29 per month that deploys and manages an OpenClaw AI assistant on your behalf.
We stand behind the quality of our Service. This policy sets out your refund rights clearly so you know exactly where you stand before and after subscribing.
7-Day Moneyback Guarantee
We offer a full, no-questions-asked refund for any subscription cancelled within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase. This guarantee applies to your first payment only and covers new subscribers who have not previously received a refund from CloudCraftr LLP.
Eligibility criteria
- Your refund request is received within 7 calendar days of your initial subscription payment date
- This is your first subscription to OpenClaw.ag under the same account or billing email
- You have not already received a refund from CloudCraftr LLP for any OpenClaw.ag subscription
What is not eligible
- Renewal charges (recurring monthly payments after the first month)
- Requests made more than 7 calendar days after the initial payment date
- Accounts found to be in breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policy
Outside of the 7-day window, refunds for renewal charges are issued at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances only. See Section 6 for details on cancellations after 7 days.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@openclaw.ag with the following information:
We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within 1 business day. You do not need to fill out any form or provide any justification within the 7-day window.
Refund Processing
Once your refund request is approved, we process the refund immediately via Stripe to the original payment method used at checkout.
Processing timeline
- Stripe initiates the refund within 1 business day of approval
- Funds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank
- You will receive a confirmation email from us and a separate receipt from Stripe once the refund is issued
Refund method
Refunds are returned to the original payment method only. We cannot issue refunds to a different card, bank account, or payment method. If your original payment method is no longer active, please contact us and we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution.
Currency
All refunds are issued in US Dollars (USD). If your card issuer converted the original charge to a different currency, the refunded amount in your local currency may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations. CloudCraftr LLP is not responsible for any currency conversion differences.
Service Access After Refund
When a refund is approved and processed, your OpenClaw.ag subscription is cancelled immediately. Specifically:
What happens to your instance
- Your OpenClaw AI assistant instance is shut down and deprovisioned promptly following the refund
- Access to your OpenClaw.ag account dashboard is terminated
- Any configurations, conversation history, or data associated with your instance will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- You will not retain any access to the Service for the remainder of the billing period after a refund is issued
If you wish to continue using OpenClaw.ag after receiving a refund, you are welcome to create a new subscription at any time, noting that the 7-day moneyback guarantee will not apply to subsequent subscriptions.
Cancellations After 7 Days
If you cancel your subscription after the 7-day moneyback window has passed, the following applies:
Subscription cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings to prevent future charges
- Your access and your OpenClaw instance remain active until the end of the current paid billing period
- No refund is issued for the unused portion of the current billing period upon cancellation
Prorated refunds (exceptional circumstances)
We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months as a matter of standard policy. In exceptional circumstances — such as a prolonged service outage directly caused by CloudCraftr that materially prevented you from using the Service — we may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial or prorated credit or refund. Such cases are assessed individually. To raise an exceptional circumstance, contact support@openclaw.ag with a description of the issue.
Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us at support@openclaw.ag before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In nearly all cases, we can resolve disputes quickly and to your satisfaction without the need for a formal dispute process.
Our chargeback policy
- If you file a chargeback without first contacting us, your account will be suspended immediately pending investigation
- If a chargeback is filed for a charge that would otherwise qualify for our 7-day moneyback guarantee, we will not contest it — simply reaching out first saves time for everyone
- Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and recovery of associated costs
- We maintain detailed records of service delivery and billing to provide to card networks in the event of a dispute
We genuinely want to make things right. Please give us the opportunity to resolve any issue before escalating to your bank.
